L'armée béninoise renforce ses soldats aux gestes de survie en urgence

Dans le cadre du renforcement des capacités opérationnelles des Forces Armées Béninoises (FAB), une session de formation spécialisée s'est achevée mardi 24 février 2026. L'exercice a porté sur les techniques avancées de réanimation en milieu hostile.

115 militaires béninois de différentes unités dont 25 en présentiel ont été formés, du 23 au 24 février 2026, aux gestes de premiers secours critiques et à la prise en charge d'urgences vitales sur le théâtre des opérations.
Les modules ont couvert l'arrêt des hémorragies massives, la gestion des voies respiratoires et l'administration de soins de réanimation d'urgence sous pression.

Les militaires ont travaillé sur des mannequins de simulation afin de reproduire des situations proches de la réalité. L'objectif est de permettre aux soldats d'intervenir rapidement en cas d'accident ou de malaise, avant même l'arrivée d'une équipe médicale spécialisée.

La formation, organisée par la Direction Centrale du Service de Santé des Armées (DCSSA) a été conduite avec l'appui de la Fondation Alain Maffon et de l'organisation américaine Global FICCS.

Ces partenaires ont également remis du matériel pédagogique et médical pour assurer la continuité des apprentissages.
