Der Rat hat eine Verordnung angenommen, mit der der Anwendungsbereich des Europäischen Fonds für die Anpassung an die Globalisierung auf die Unterstützung von Arbeitnehmerinnen und Arbeitnehmer, die von einem unmittelbar bevorstehenden Personalabbau betroffen sind, ausgeweitet werden soll.

Ahead of Europe Day 2026, President of the European Council António Costa signed an opinion piece reflecting on our common European project and the importance of multilateralism.

On 9 May, Europeans will celebrate Europe Day. This year marks the 76th  anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, which laid the foundations for the European Union as we know it today, and led to an unprecedented era of peace, democracy, prosperity, integration and cooperation across the continent.

Das Restaurant Parkhuus im Zürcher Fünf-Sterne-Haus Park Hyatt schliesst Mitte Juni. Damit verabschiedet sich das Hotel von seinem Fine-Dining-Konzept. Künftig will es auf eine währschaftere Küche setzen.

Wegen eines gefälschten Covid-Zertifikats wurde Patrick Fischer 2023 verurteilt. Sein Name tauchte bei einer Razzia im Kanton Graubünden auf.

Am Donnerstagabend krachte ein Autofahrer in Oberbüren SG in eine Hauswand und eine Baustellenabsperrung. Der Mann nickte am Steuer ein. Der Sachschaden beläuft sich auf rund 30'000 Franken.
